The motion was approved o with John Cahalane <br /> abstaining. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> • Thanks for Giving Award ceremony <br /> Gail Wilson reported that everything was in place for Wednesday, January 22nd t 11 All at Town <br /> Hall-, in the Selectmen's Meeting Boon 1. Ms. Wilson stated that she had entered an article about <br /> the award ceremony in the Mashpee Enterprise, sent a special invitation to the Board of selectmen, <br /> and posted ars announcement on the Town website about the ceremony. Fruth Elias and Elinor <br /> Glener are taking care of light r freshment for the occasion and will prepare for 25 attendees. John <br /> Cahalane reported that the ceremony would be televised. <br /> Janice Walford distributed copies of a compilation of amazing quotes from young people who have <br /> graduated from the Boys and Girls Club. These will be avalilable as handouts at the program. Also <br /> available for distribution will be a one-page article from Muth Provost about how the Boys & Girls <br /> Club is addressing low-income needs, <br /> • Plaque for Award Recipients' <br /> ' <br /> Gail Wilson had on display two variations of a possible plaque for the Thanks for Giving Award <br /> recipients. One possible choice was $ o plus .25 per letter; the second choice was $200 plus <br /> . o per letter. After discussion, it was decided by the Board to order two $ o plaques,-one for <br /> individual avwrardees, and one for groups. Names of the recipients will be In gold. John Cahalane <br />
