TO ORDER: Chairman Ruth Elias called the meeting to order at 2:00 PM. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: None. <br /> EVIE II OF.I IINUTES: Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014. <br /> Corrections were made to the 212012014 minutes. <br /> Fruth Elias made a motion that the 212012014 Human Services minutes be approved as corrected. <br /> Janice 1 alfcrd seconded the action. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> NEVA BUSINESS <br /> A. Coordinator's Deport— Highlights <br /> * Souter Bair Mental Health. Gail V ils n and Tara Carllne met with Melissa L mba, South Bay <br /> Mental Health, at their 470 Main Street location in Mashpee. South Bay Mental Health is now <br /> offering a Structured Outpatient Addictions Program and they are doing outpatient therapy in the <br /> home. They do have a psychiatrist on staff but the patient must be in therapy to see the psychiatrist. <br /> The program is funded by The United Way. <br /> WeCan. Gail Wilson reported on a discussion held with WE CAN, arra organization with a strong <br /> presence on the lower Cape headquartered at the Harwich Community Center. This is an ongoing <br /> monthly group for women seeking to find or create sustainable work on Cape Cod. The intent of <br /> these groups is to create a support network, assist with skill budding, and share information and <br /> resources. The group is open to all Cape women, and they are eager to establish a strong presence <br /> in Mashpee to reach women residing in the upper Cape region. Several locations were suggested <br /> ars possible meeting ting places for VISE CAN including the Senior Center, as well as the Mashpee <br /> Human services office. <br /> � i <br />
