Kathy Mohler-Faria Mohler—Sariseconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> * Tangs for Giving Award— 2014 <br /> John Cahalane presented his recommendation to consider den & Cindy Jones, of Monornoscoy <br /> Road, Mashpe , as this year's "Thanks for Giving Award" recipients. Ken and Cindy Jones Inst a <br /> son, a US Marine, in Afghanistan and have since established the Ma tepee-based 'Heroes in <br /> Transition" organization that is now nationally recognized. The organization offers service dog <br /> training with eighteen dogs in service, nine of which are now on the Cape, a well as a therapeutic <br /> cost program, and much more. The ,hones organization is heavily involved in M shpee as well as in <br /> New York. <br /> Mary Bradbury made a motion to nominate Ken and Cindy Jones ars the individual recipients of the <br /> 2014 "Thanks for Giving" award, and the l sb -•based "Heroes in Transition" ars the organization <br /> '7h n s for Giving " award. Mary Scanlan seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br /> approved. The dates set for the "Thanks for Giving' award ceremony were Monday, Dec 1 h at 11 <br /> M, Mashpee Town Hall, and Tuesday, Dec 16 to at 1 PM as an alternate date. Ruth Elias and Elinor <br /> Glener will 600rdinate refreshments for the occasion. Three film clips, each 3 minutes long, will be <br /> shown to illustrate the "Heroes in Transition" program. <br />
