k <br /> Chair felt that Koch ceding would not be an option, but that the Sewer Commission was no <br /> longer in the position to make a deal with New Seabury. .. <br /> Mr. Lyons made a motion that the Sever Commission recommend to the Board of <br /> Selectmen that they write a letter to the MMR that Mashpee was very interested in <br /> considering use of the existing or expanded facility, whatever is necessary, to tae a share <br /> of Mashpee's planned sever effluent from the northwest corner of the Town that was <br /> immediately adjacent to the <br /> Mr. Gobell reported that a meeting was expected in a couple of weeps and that the B S, Town <br /> Manager and Sever Commission could be invited to attend. Mr. Gregg recommended also <br /> contacting Mashpee's political connections, including Mate representatives and the Cape Cod <br /> Commission, following the meeting with the NE�M. Selectman O'Hara Mated that he would <br /> i discuss the issue at the next Board of Selectmen's meeting and provide copies of the MMR <br /> Executive Summary the Selectmen. <br /> Mr. Lyons made a motion that the Sewer Commission recommend that Selectman O'Hara <br /> bring forward to the Selectmen the Summary Report to express the importance that <br /> f lashp ee reg1 ter with AIAM on an ongoing basis, Mashpee's sincere interest in utilizing <br /> their facilities in some form. Mr. Burns seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Mr. Gregg will forward the summary to Mr. Gobell who could then provide copies to Selectman <br /> O'Hara. The Chair summarized the Commission's homework to include: checking buildout <br /> numbers versus 2001 numbers for Mr. York.; Selectman O'Hara Will present the NO&K option to <br /> the Board of Selectmen, Mr. Gregg will develop a draft plan including the MMR alternative and <br /> including the New Seabury Golf Course and 6 large existing plants; and Mr. Gobell will <br /> complete reports on the other wastewater facilities. <br /> Intermunicipal Issues <br /> -County Funded Inter-Municipal MOU Negotiations <br /> -Report on Cape Cod Commission Cape-Wide Wastewater Flan <br /> -Status of MMR Utility Planning <br /> Falmouth Issues-No discussion <br /> Barnstable Issues-As discussed above <br /> Sandwich Issues-No discussion <br /> i <br /> Discussion Items <br /> -Status of Water/Sewer Distri <br />
