SCB AMENDED AGREEMENT— JUNE 29t 1981 k <br /> This amendment states that the SCB Committee shall be responsible for making recommendations to the <br /> DEM on such ratters to include park management, rules & regulations, design & plan review. <br /> SCB AMENDED AGREEMENT EEMENT - December 27, 1990. This agreement relates strictly to Paragraphs 14 <br /> and 15 of Amended Agreement dated 6129/1981, <br /> .Jeri Smith stated that the State bond had expired as of 1991} and that getting state money to improve <br /> Wills Work Road and providing water to the State Park area was a problem. It still has not been <br /> determined who owns the end of Wills Work Road. Jeri smith stated that according to the Board of <br /> Selectmen, no improvements would be done to Wills Work Road until establishment of ownership of the <br /> property is confirmed. <br /> Jack Shep is responsible for making sure the public has access to the beaches, Mr.shep would be a <br /> good person to contact regarding solution to the Wills Work Road issue. <br /> HUNTING FOR THE 2014-2015 SEASON <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the issue of authority held by the south cape Beach State Park Advisory <br /> Committee to recommend approvai of hunting at the state Park. It was agreed by the committee that the <br /> SCB committee may recommend approval of hunting in the State Park in the 2014-2015 season <br /> Mike cardeiro made a motion that the south cape Beach state Park Advisory Committee continue its <br /> recommendation to approve hunting in the state Park during the 2014-2015 season. Perry Ellis <br /> seconded the motion. The motion was passed by a vote of 5-7. (Lewis Newell and Hill Martiros opposed). <br /> The approved recommendation will be forwarded to John Singleton at W NER . <br /> Bon Clarke commented that the Native Americans will continue to hunt the state Park regardless of this <br /> committee's recommendation} one way or another. Hunters must adhere to the rule of maintaining a <br /> distance of 500 feet from property lines. Bon Clarke pointed out that hunting is not permitted during the <br /> summer, and not on Sundays. The hunting season is not in the high population time of the year. <br /> Linell Grundman will contact Lance Lambros regarding the issue of whether we as a committee have the <br /> authority to recommend to the State the allowance of hunting in the Park. <br /> Perry Ellis suggested that Town Counsel study the Amended Agreements dated 1981 and 1990 to <br /> determine which document has the definitive language. <br /> NEXT MEETING <br /> The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 5 PM. <br /> ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business} Mike Cardeiro made a motion that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
