Board of Managers <br /> Tipper Cape Regional Transfer Station <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> February 13, 2013 at :00 a.me <br /> Mashpee Town Tall, Selectmen's Meeting, Room <br /> Falmouth: John Elliott, Chairman <br /> Sandwich.- Paul Tilton <br /> Mashpee: Catherine Laurent <br /> Bourne: Tian Barrett, Phil Goddard (alt.) <br /> Otis: Chris Segura <br /> Present: Chairman John Elliott,Paul Tilton, Chris Segura, Dan Barrett, Catherine Laurent <br /> Absent: Phil Goddard <br /> Also Present: Raymond Jack-Director, Falmouth Public Works: Larry Barrett-LTB Consulting- <br /> Carl avossa- avossa Disposal; Rob Paultz-lauset Disposal, Ruth Brazier-Falmouth Resident; <br /> Town Manager.voce Mason-Mashpee <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Elliott at 8:07 a.m. <br /> NEW BUSMSS <br /> 2012 Tonnage Reconciliation,MassCoastal <br /> Mr. Jack referenced the spreadsheet depicting total tonnage of 35,732.29 compared to the bail's <br /> 40,000 ton requirement, resulting in a shortage of 4,267.71. Deducting Falmouth's additional <br /> site tipping of 476.92 tons resulted in a total shortage of 3,790,79 tons' at a rate of$9.96 per ton. <br /> The amount due to Massoa.sta.l totaled 7,75 . 7, The spreadsheet identified each town's <br /> percentage of the payment and amount due, Falmouth will pay an additional alternate tipping fee <br /> of$45750.12, MassCoastal agreed to the amounts and invoices will he forwarded to each of the <br /> towns. <br /> Approve January 2013 Residential Tonnage of 1,628.41. Tons for Deporting to SEMASS <br /> Total Residential and Commercial is 2,,476.82 toms <br /> Mr. Tilton made a motion to approve the tonnage for January 2013. Ms. Laurent seconded <br /> the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Approve Minutes of January 9,2013 Meeting <br /> Chairman Elliott noted that, in the discussion of alternate tonnage, Noonan was the only Mauler <br /> who reported tipping at the Bourne landfill and that 3 of the 4 haulers did not report tipping <br /> elsewhere since July 1, 2011. The Chair noted that Mr. Cavossa.stated he had tipped at Bourne, <br /> but reports from Cavossa did not reflect tipping elsewhere. Mr. Cavossa stated that he was <br /> paying the fee to Falmouth and the Chair responded that tonnage tipped elsewhere had not been <br /> included in their reporting. The Chair asked that the minutes be amended. <br /> 1 <br />
