Mr. D.Barrett seconded <br /> the notion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Discussion of Future Use of UCRT <br /> Chairman Laurent indicated that she had forwarded by email a draft preliminary scope of <br /> services for a feasibility study, Sharon Rooney, of the Cape Cod Commission, was present to <br /> discuss the status of the Joint Land Use Study Update, funded by the Office of Economic <br /> Adjustment, as well as possible funding opportunities to assess future uses of the UCRT , Ms, <br /> Rooney indicated that JLUS was an update to a 2005 study completed involving the four upper <br /> Cape communities along with the base, with a focus on the potential for community partnerships. <br /> Workshops were conducted where the UCRTS was identified for potential re-use purposes such <br /> as regional recycling and/or composting. <br /> Mr. D. Barrett referenced Task fo of the Scope and inquired about the perspective the Board was <br /> seeping for operation or leasing of the facility and recommended an additional task to determine <br /> the towns' involvement and investment in the facility.
