Mr. Whritenbur <br /> indicated that all necessary paperwork is in order. <br /> Mr. Mitrokostas indicated that for convenience purposes and for the benefit <br /> of patrons, he has applied for a beer and wine license only. <br /> Being no further comment, Selectman Costa closed the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to approve the Wine and Malt <br /> Beverage License for Atlantic Seafood Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a <br /> Atlantic Seafood as presented. Motion seconded by Selectman <br /> Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. Selectman Mills abstained. <br /> With reference to the entertainment license request,Mr. Mitrokostas indicated <br /> that recorded music will be played in the dining area only. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to approve the Entertainment <br /> License request of Atlantic Seafood Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a <br /> Atlantic Seafood for recorded music in the dining area only. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> 3-0. Selectman Mills abstained. <br /> Correspondence re: Operation Floodgate: <br /> Mr.Whritenour submitted a draft memo to Lieutenant Colonel Jenner of <br /> the Massachusetts Military Division Adjutant General's Office dated June 20, <br /> 1994 relative to Operation Floodgate,File Number 94-166. Included for <br /> approval was a Hold Harmless Agreement for the Board's consideration. <br /> It was noted that with the National Guard's support, two construction <br /> projects will be completed to improve two recreational facilities in Mashpee. <br /> The scope of work includes the development of a sand volleyball court <br /> and two horseshoe pits in the area of John's Pond. An existing foundation <br /> is also proposed to be removed by the National Guard at Heritage Park. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the Hold Harmless <br /> Agreement as presented subject to Town Counsel's review and <br /> approval. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> *Selectman Caffyn recommended to review the foundation at Heritage Park <br /> for hazardous material. Mr. Whritenour will also locate a disposal site. <br />
