Page 3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 22, 1994 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Liquor License Transfer: <br /> Selectman Caffyn requested a status report as it pertains to the <br /> application of Denrich Enterprises, Inc. to transfer an All Alcoholic <br /> Retail Package Store license. <br /> As ruled by Town Counsel, the Liquor License Application passed <br /> as a result of votes taken by the Board of Selectmen on August 8, 1994 <br /> indicated Selectman Mills. All votes taken by the Board passed; <br /> 2-0. Two for; one abstention. <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that the Board voted to approve the Change of <br /> Location from Steeple Street to North Market Street. The exact proposed <br /> expansion is unclear and requires an additional Public Hearing for <br /> public comment. <br /> With concerns related to the above, Selectman Caffyn requested the <br /> Board not allow a change of name without public notice. All applicants <br /> should submit a full comprehensive presentation to the Board of <br /> Selectmen for review and consideration prior to a Public Hearing. <br /> It was noted that the application as publicized contained a different <br /> change of name. At a public meeting, the applicant requested the <br /> Board amend the license application to read: Denrich Enterprises, Inc. <br /> d/b/a Liberty Liquors and not Mashpee Commons Spirits. <br /> Personnel Board Candidate - Ronald Levine: <br /> Communication was received from the Personnel Board dated August 12, <br /> 1994 recommending that Ronald Levine be appointed to the Personnel <br /> Board. Mr. Ronald Levine was present to discuss his application with <br /> the Board. <br /> Mr.Levine, a Mashpee resident and voter, has owned and operated a <br /> wholesale beauty supply and equipment business in Brookline for <br /> eighteen years. Mr. Levine indicated that he attended a Personnel Board <br /> meeting last week. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to appoint Ronald Levine <br /> to the Personnel Board as recommended.
