Page 10 <br /> i' Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 24, 1994 <br /> Appointment of Board Secretary Alternates: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to appoint as <br /> Board Secretary Alternates: <br /> Sandra Peters <br /> Nancy Peterson <br /> Brenda Archilles <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Appointment of Economic Development Coordinator: <br /> Members from the Personnel Board, the Economic Development <br /> ,3 Committee, the Executive Secretary and Selectman Caffyn interviewed <br /> several candidates for the consultant position of Economic Development <br /> Coordinator. <br /> The interviewing committee is in agreement to recommend that <br /> ' Wayne Duchemin of Mashpee be appointed as Economic Development <br /> Coordinator indicated Mr. Whritenour. <br /> Funds to support the position are reserved in the budget of this current <br /> fiscal year noted Mr. Whritenour. The Economic Development Coord- <br /> inator will be compensated at a rate of$11.97 per hour with a maximum <br /> of 30 hours per month without benefits. <br /> The sum of$5,000 is allocated for this position. The Economic <br /> Development Coordinator will report to the Executive Secretary and <br /> Economic Development Committee indicated Mr. Whritenour. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Dinizio to appoint Wayne Duchemin <br /> to the position of Economic Development Coordinator as <br /> recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Personnel Board Action Plan for Review and Acceptance: <br /> The Board reviewed the Action Plan as submitted by the Personnel Board. <br /> For the Board's consideration, Mr. Whritenour submitted a proposed <br /> draft Action Plan consisting of eight individual items to be incorporated <br /> into the action plan of the department. <br /> Selectman Dinizio recommended to provide additional comment from <br /> the staff for consideration. The comments of the Department Heads <br /> will aid to design the process indicated Selectman Dinizio. <br /> 1 <br />
