Page 5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 27, 1995 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRE PONDEN <br /> Memorandum from DPW Director re: Route 130 <br /> Heritage Park to Sandwich Line - 1.65 Miles: <br /> Communication was received from Greg Taylor,the Director of <br /> Public Works dated February 21, 1995 announcing that Mashpee <br /> has received a commitment from the State to provide the resurfacing <br /> of Route 130 from Heritage park to the Sandwich Town Line,a <br /> distance of 1.65 miles. <br /> All funding will be provided by the Commonwealth. The resurfacing <br /> of this segment of Route 130 will complete the Route 130 project <br /> indicated Mr. Taylor. <br /> Correspondence from Cape Cod Commission re: <br /> Memorandum of Understanding: <br /> Communication was received from Kenneth Brock,Chairman of the <br /> Cape Cod Commission dated February 16, 1995 relative to the development <br /> of a draft Memorandum of Understanding proposing to coordinate local <br /> and regional review of Developments of Regional Impact. <br /> Mr. Brock indicated that he will discuss the provisions contained in the <br /> MOU with the Commission's Executive Director, Armando Carbonnell <br /> after the Board has reviewed the draft. <br /> Mr. Whritenour indicated that Town Counsel is currently reviewing the <br /> draft Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> *Future Agenda Item. <br /> Correspondence from the Peninsula Council, Inc. re: <br /> Mashpee Comprehensive Plan: <br /> Communication was received from Nicholas Demas,Executive Director <br /> of Peninsula Council,Inc. dated February 20, 1995 requesting to receive <br /> any information related to the Mashpee Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Peninsula Council has also requested to be informed of all meetings <br /> scheduled on the above subject. It is their intention to keep all of their <br /> property owners informed of issues related to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> *Memo to be forwarded to Town Planner for involvement as requested <br />
