Page 8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 27, 1995 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Memo from the Finance Committee re: Executive Session: <br /> Communication was received from Dan Goggin, Chairman of the <br /> Finance Committee dated February 13, 1995 relative to the subject of <br /> matters discussed in Executive Session. <br /> i <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that he submitted communication to Mr. Goggin <br /> with regards to matters to be discussed in Executive Session. He <br /> recommended to conduct a training seminar for board secretaries,committee <br /> and board members relative to Executive Session items and required. <br /> formats. <br /> Selectman Mills requested that all board secretaries receive instruction as <br /> to the manner in which Executive Session items should be maintained and <br /> reflected to comply with Executive Session rules and regulations. <br /> It was noted that all motions and roll call votes of a board or <br /> committee should be reflected in Executive and Regular Session minutes. <br /> Red Cross Proclamation: <br /> Communication was received from the American Red Cross, Cape Cod <br /> Chapter dated February 9, 1995 requesting the Town of Mashpee participate <br /> and recognize March as Red Cross Month. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to proclaim March as <br /> Red Cross Month as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Letter of Resignation as Planning Board Secretary: <br /> Arden Cadrin submitted her resignation from her assignment as Board <br /> Secretary to the Mashpee Planning Board in a memo dated February 17, <br /> 1995. <br /> *Personnel Board to receive letter of resignation. <br /> It was noted that Ms. Cadrin will assume responsibilities as Board Secretary <br /> to the High School Building Committee. <br /> Letter of Resignation from ADA Committee: <br /> Joseph Mendes, Sr. submitted his resignation to the Handicap Commission <br /> effective;February 16, 1995 to pursue additional interests. Mr. Mendes <br /> indicated that he has an interest to serve on the Chief of Police Citizens <br /> Advisory Committee. <br />
