Page 5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 24, 1995 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Planning Board - Joint Appointment: <br /> Planning Board members,Tony Ferragamo and Tana Watt were <br /> present to request the Board appoint Spyro Mitrokostas as a regular <br /> member of the Planning Board to fill the vacancy of Richard Martini. <br /> Being no quorum for the Planning Board,Mr. whritenour directed <br /> Mr.Ferragamo as Chairman solicit a roll call vote from Planning Board <br /> relative to appointment that will be included with the vote of the Board of <br /> Selectmen in joint process. <br /> Selectman Mills requested nominations from the Board. <br /> Selectman Costa nominated Spyro Mitrokostas. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro seconded the nomination. <br /> Being no further nominations, Selectman Mills requested a vote from <br /> the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to appoint; <br /> Spyro Mitrokostas <br /> as a regular member of the Planning Board as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> Roll Call Vote: George, yes Jim, yes Nancy, yes Peter, yes <br /> Judy, yes Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> PUBLIC DISCUSSION: <br /> Michael Barry requested information pertaining to the implementation of <br /> the Enhanced 911 system. <br /> Selectman Costa indicated that the Enhanced 911 system will be effective <br /> in the Town of Mashpee on May 14, 1995 for a thirty day trial period. <br /> *Agenda item: May S, 1995. <br /> A PPOINTME NTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing - John's Pond Ski Team: - <br /> Selectman Mills opened the public hearing on the proposal of the <br /> John's Pond Ski Team for the use of a water ski jump and ACLU-SINK <br /> submergible slalom course on the waters of John's Pond. <br /> George Ryan, President of the John's Pond Ski Team was present to <br /> discuss his amended proposal with the Board as discussed in his memo <br />
