Beach ConcessionBi • <br /> Jay and David Tura of International on Cape Codwere present to <br /> discuss the Beach Concession Bid with the Board. <br /> 1 <br /> Mr. Turo respectfully requested the Board rescind their past decision <br /> to re--bid the food and soft drink concession at South Cape Beach, <br /> John's Pond Park and the Attaquin Park beaches. <br /> Mr. Turo indicated that his firm has serviced the Town of Mashpee <br /> in the past without incident. He requested the Board award the bid <br /> to International of Cape Cod based upon their original bid of$3210. <br /> `Motion made by Selectman Costa to reconsider rescinding the =E <br /> Board's previous action to re-bid the Beach Concession. <br /> No second. Motion does not cant'. <br /> ,f <br /> i <br /> Selectman Vaccaro indicated that Beach Concession Bids are due on <br /> Wednesday,June 7, 1335 at 9:00 a.m. The bids should be clearly <br /> marked in a sealed envelope. All bids will be opened by the Chairman <br /> or the Vice-Chthe Board of Selectmen on June 7, 1935 at <br /> s. <br /> 9:30 a.m. <br /> t <br /> Selectman Vaccaro indicated that the Beach Concession hid is a competitive <br /> bidding process. The Board of Selectmen would like to obtain as much <br /> return for the Town as possible. ;r <br /> Selectman Caffyn noted that she recommended to re-bid the Beach <br /> Concession because of the comparable bid between the two vendors. <br /> Letter of Gratitude from Janice Walford: <br /> Mr.Whritenour read aloud the letter of gratitude as received from <br /> Janice Walford,Managing Editor of the Mashpee Enterprise dated <br /> May 17, 1995. <br /> Ms.Walford was named Citizen of the Year.
