Page 3 Board of Selectmen Minutes June 5, 1995 CQMhEaUf4ATION AND CORREST NDEN • Communication from the South Gape Beach-Adyi ory Committ +�� = Correspondence was received from Morris Kirsner,Chairman of the South Cape Beach State Parr Advisory Committee dated May 19, 1995 updating the Board with regards to the South Cape Beach Recreation- Area Management Plan. Can May, 10, 1995 the committee voted unanimously to approve the Management Plan subject to revisions that were agreed upon at the g J � � meeting with the Department of Environmental Management. Communication fr m the Walerwaysmmi i n• Motion made by Selectman Costa to place the communication as received from the Waterways Commission on the agenda. Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Correspondence was received from Ben Gordon, Chairman of the Waterways Commission dated May 15, 1995 requesting the sum of y{o $1000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund. The waterways Commission has recognized the need to expend funds 4 for two safety related projects. One of which will improve signage at the fresh and salt water ramps. The second will allow the Commission to print and obtain informative brochures to pass along to boaters this summer. Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the $1000 expense request of the Waterways Commission for safety related projects as outlined. Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. EI. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. PUBLIC DISCUSS ION: A residents ole of the condition of Great Oak Road as it now exists. She was informed by the Board that the unpaved section is scheduled to be re-graded this month. Re-construction is scheduled to begin during the month of September. Jim McGonagle requested information pertaining to the Herring Warden's Management Plan. Mr.Whritenour will furnish the information in writing to Mr. McGonagle as requested.
