Page 3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 5, 1995 <br /> CQMhEaUf4ATION AND CORREST NDEN • <br /> Communication from the South Gape Beach-Adyi ory <br /> Committ +�� = <br /> Correspondence was received from Morris Kirsner,Chairman of the <br /> South Cape Beach State Parr Advisory Committee dated May 19, 1995 <br /> updating the Board with regards to the South Cape Beach Recreation- <br /> Area Management Plan. <br /> Can May, 10, 1995 the committee voted unanimously to approve the <br /> Management Plan subject to revisions that were agreed upon at the <br /> g J � � <br /> meeting with the Department of Environmental Management. <br /> Communication fr m the Walerwaysmmi i n• <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to place the communication <br /> as received from the Waterways Commission on the agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Correspondence was received from Ben Gordon, Chairman of the <br /> Waterways Commission dated May 15, 1995 requesting the sum of <br /> y{o <br /> $1000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund. <br /> The waterways Commission has recognized the need to expend funds 4 <br /> for two safety related projects. One of which will improve signage <br /> at the fresh and salt water ramps. The second will allow the Commission <br /> to print and obtain informative brochures to pass along to boaters <br /> this summer. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the $1000 <br /> expense request of the Waterways Commission for <br /> safety related projects as outlined. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. EI. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> PUBLIC DISCUSS ION: <br /> A residents ole of the condition of Great Oak Road as it now exists. <br /> She was informed by the Board that the unpaved section is scheduled <br /> to be re-graded this month. Re-construction is scheduled to begin during <br /> the month of September. <br /> Jim McGonagle requested information pertaining to the Herring Warden's <br /> Management Plan. Mr.Whritenour will furnish the information in writing <br /> to Mr. McGonagle as requested. <br />
