It was noted that funds to support <br /> the ant program will be taken fr PP - <br /> � P �m om the State's s sherry Sheet revenue. <br /> Chief Przybylek also attained t funding to <br /> . � ,g , support the purchase <br /> of a breathalyzer and a mobile video unit indicated Mr. Whrltenour, <br /> Further information will be resented to the Board prior ' <br /> P p to execution. <br /> tMW-BUSTNESS: <br /> Acceptance of Voting Equipment E ui ment Bid: <br /> Jane Labute, the Town Clerk was present to request the Board approve <br /> the bid of Business Rec r PP <br /> Records Corporation for optical Scan Voting Machines. <br /> Ms.Labute indicated that Business Records Corporation ' <br /> rpo anon submitted a <br /> bid of$5,250 per machine for a total sum of21 <br /> $ 000. (4 units <br /> The optech III-P Eagle can accommodate different size ' <br /> ballots punted <br /> on one side or both sides if required indicated Ms.Labute. The red stripe <br /> located on the Eagle enable <br /> g s the poll workers to differentiate between <br /> blank ballots and write--in ballots immediately. <br /> The optech is also poll worker friendly explained Ms.Labute. It will - <br /> print a message to workers if the ballot is jammed and will identifywhen <br /> processing s complete. - <br /> the ballot rocessin i <br /> This particular voting equipment is stackable and will allow <br /> P us to store <br /> the units at the school noted Ms. Labute. <br /> For disclosure, Selectman Vaccaro indicated that he has worked for the <br /> recommended firm and will step down for the bid award. <br /> Selectman Costa as Vice-Chairman requested q d a vote from the Board. <br />
