The State Department will be consulted <br /> with reference to water management and related water levels. <br /> With respect to the above, the management levels of all rivers should <br /> bereviewed suggested Brad Caffyn. <br /> APPOEVMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Vanessa Waugh - Miss Massachusetts . <br /> g setts Teen USA Pageant. <br /> Mashpee resident,Vanessa Waugh wasresented to discuss the Miss <br /> 5S <br /> Massachusetts Teen USA Pageant and related sponsorship requirements <br /> with the Board of � P <br /> Selectmen and interested public. <br /> Ms.Waugh has requested financial support from ' <br /> pp the community in the <br /> amount of$695. It was noted that the sponsorshipfee cannot be aid <br /> b the entrant. Th • P • <br /> y e fee must come from a business, club,organization, <br /> or from family and friends. <br /> Interested sponsors may submit financial contributions to the office of <br /> the Board of Selectmen. Checks should be made out to the Miss <br /> Massachusetts Teen USA Pageant and will be 'ven to Miss Waugh. <br /> � g <br /> Arlene Wolk - Fire and Health Hazards: <br /> New Seabury resident, Arlene Wolk wasres n ' <br /> p e t to discuss her memo of <br /> August 24, 1995 relative to the conditions of the old cranberry bog that is ' <br /> owned by the Town and located behind her place of residence. <br /> } <br /> As a result of the current weather conditions, Massachusetts has been <br /> declared a Class V Fire Danger Zone. Ms.'Wolk related concerns with <br /> r� <br /> regards to the threat of fire and with personnel health and safety issues. <br /> Ms. Wolk requested the Fire Chief declare an emergency order to <br /> � Y <br /> approve the cutting of the bog. It was noted that the former Fire Chef <br /> recommended the bogs be cut on a yearly basis to protect the area homes. <br /> Ms. walk indicated that the Conservation Commission <br /> will not permit <br /> the cutting of the bog. <br />
