Draft 2- August 25, 1995 <br /> Explanation: This change will provide a severability clause in the Bylaw where <br /> at present there is none. <br /> Article 8.1 <br /> To see if the Town will accept the following definitions, and add them to Section <br /> 170 of the Mashpee Bylaws: <br /> A. Mashpee Waterway or Waterways - includes all of the navigable waters <br /> within the boundaries of the Town, which shall include all harbors, rivers, <br /> bays, or ponds, including "Waterway(s)" which from time to time may be <br /> temporarily non-navigable by reason of low tide, drought or seasonal <br /> weather and water conditions. <br /> B. Harbormaster - The Harbormaster, and Assistant Harbormasters duly <br /> empowered duly empowered by the General Laws of the Commonwealth. <br /> C. Persons - Includes individuals, corporations, societies, associations, <br /> partnerships and trusts. <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Harbormaster <br /> Explanation: There are no definitions in the current version of Chapter 170, so <br /> this change will define terms that might otherwise be subject to misinterpretation. <br /> Article 9. <br /> Article to Transfer State Beach <br /> Explanation: <br /> Article 10. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate or transfer from available funds a <br /> sum of money to reclassify the position of Administrative Assistant to the Board <br /> of Selectmen, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Page 5 <br />
