Minutes accepted as corrected. III REPORTS A. Librarian: Circulation for the month of April totalled 5,704 items. Included in that total were 4, 328 adult items and 1,376 Juvenile items. The total number of items circu- lated was 531 more than last April; an increase of 10 per- cent over the same period last year. The gear-to-date total is 64 ,922 items. As part of that total, the library circulated 330 cassette recordings, 247 periodicals, 148 paperbacks and 1,458 video cassettes. There were 76 inter- loan transactions and 1F785 out-of-town borrowers. E. Friends of the Library: 'Peri Hyde was absent. She had reported to Helene that the book sale earned $107. Iv BUSINESS FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS A. ATM Recap: lo 0, Robertson reported, as it now stands, they had been granted six additional hours for Xathy Makunast position, however, since the selectmen did not keep the Article which the library had submitted to pair for her benefits on the warrant, the library will have to resubmit that Article fr the fall. Therefore, they cannot add those additional hours to Kathy's position until after the fall town meeting. The library has the atonies for a whole yearts worth of hours, but they have no money to pair her the benefits. She will not be allowed to work those hours until they have the monies to pair her for both.
