ATNF Recap <br /> 2, New Position for 19 hours (effective 7/1/95) : Helene <br /> will be required to submit the job description to the <br /> personnel board. The procedure in the past for inter- <br /> viewing and hiring has been, the library director and <br /> one of the trustees rust be present during the inter- <br /> Vi ews as well as therepresentative from personnel. <br /> HVAC project: o. Robertson explained that we are <br /> ready to go forward with the heating system project. <br /> The next step is to develop the bid specs. Helene <br /> stated that she had the figures which were submitted <br /> to her by Al Gagne which described the type of system <br /> for which we are looking. ' Helene will deck with <br /> Bob Whr itenour relative to the required procedure and <br /> timetable therefor-. <br /> . Back Budget: o. Robertson indicated a need to review <br /> the book budget before annual fall -town meeting, re-. <br /> calculate ever thing. - <br /> B. Book drop: Helene felt that there would be a great improve- <br /> ment with the use of the new book drop. Mimi indicated <br /> that she had assisted in emptying the book drop that day, <br /> and found it to be a very heaver project. <br /> C. Board officers for next year,: Cheryl Hawver nominated <br /> Mimi Marsh for chairman effective 7/1/95. A. Bu chenf eldt <br /> seconded. All in favor. Nominations closed. <br /> D. Catalog for shelving for videos : M, Marsh presented an <br /> idea for consideration: "If we put the videos in the closet <br /> area we will be stopping a lot of traffic movement. What <br /> would be the feeling relative to moving the copier, which <br /> was used less than videos , separating the children l s videos <br /> from the adult videos. Helene explained that the library staff had suggested the <br /> possibility of moving the circulation desk further forward <br /> in order to afford more space behid the desk area, It is <br /> no longer necessary for the patrons to lane up in front of <br /> the desk since the installation of CLAMS. <br />
