Polly Spence was a rep from Acme office Supplies . P. 1, III Reports : Delete 'Friends Tea" , - substitute. "Friends meting' P. 2, Iters A. Para. 3 , Lick Shaughnessy will track when they will have their meetings. Teri Hyde requested that her name be corrected, spelled, "Teri" . The minutes were accepted as corrected. III REPORTS; A. Librarian: Helene IeFoe reported: Circulation for the month, of October totalled 6 , 849 items; u 912 o r the prey iou October. Included in that total were 5 , 111 adult items, 2 o young adult Items, and 1,611 juvenile items. There were 250 paperbacks, 509 - periodicals , 378 cassettes/ recordings and 1, 636 videos circulated. B. Friends of the Library: Teri Hyde reported that on Tuesday, November 28 , 1995 , at 1 p. m. , the Friends will have their monthly meeting. The meeting will cover highlights from the fourth United Nations Conference on women and their Role. which was held in Bejin , China in 19.95 . Teri re- quested that as many of the trustees as possible attend, and also bring a friend. ' The speaker will be Dorothy E. Burrill. This will be held ,in the library meeting room. The Friends want to have standing room only for Ms . Burrill. . Teri has been gratified by the amounts taken in by the booksales . The book sales this past month brought in 90 . 25. The book sales , since July 1995 have taken in $414 ; the mini sale has brought in $375 since July 1995. C. Dick Shaughnessy reported that he had been asked to cheek on the Capital Equipment Committee: The Capital Equip- ment Comm. will be meeting again in a month. The date and time of this ee ting will be posted. Dick. 'volunteered to be the -official representative of .the Library Trustees for the Capital Equipment Committee'.
