Mr. Golub asked the minimum <br /> requirement from DOE. Deletig Falmouth costs it is approximately <br /> $6. 5 million. Mr. Golub mentioned that the minimum requirements do <br /> not take into consideration the start up costs of the high school . <br /> Mr. Golub asked that the Finance Committee be part of the contracts <br /> process. Ms. King stated that she would address this with Dr. <br /> eMoura. Mr. Goggin felt that they could expect contracts to come <br /> up in the Special, Ms, King e l t that the amount Dr, DeMoura is <br /> given is the amount he has to live with. Mr. Golub asked Ms. Xing <br /> if she felt there was any fat in the budget? She felt that as with <br /> all budgets it could be tightened u , but she felt it was <br /> reasonable budget. she is also deeply concerned with the high <br /> school. Mr. Ferriday's feeling was that if the Medicaid money <br /> originated ithin the school Department, then it should revert lack <br /> to the schools. The vote was called and members voted 4 to 3 , Mr. <br /> Goggin, Ms. Sullivan and Mr. Golub opposing. <br /> Correspondence <br /> There was a letter from Marilyn Farren indicating they were pulling <br /> the article requesting -a Personnel Consultant, They were also <br /> amending the article requesting an increase of hours for a part <br /> time floating clerk to the creation of a part time 19 hour <br /> position. <br /> There was also a proposal from Mr, Whritenour for an additional <br /> clerical assistant. <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi also handed out a memo from Deputy Chief Hamblin <br /> regarding the FY96 salary and Wage. Mr. Bacigalupi asked that the <br /> Committee read this in or ation. <br /> The assistant to the Town Planner is ,leaving the Department. <br /> Capital Committee <br /> Mr, Goggia asked Mr, Golub to invite the capital Committee to their <br /> April. 4th meeting. Mr. Golub mentioned that he was unsure if the <br /> Capital Committee was as productive as it should be. The Committee <br /> discussed the petition article which applied to the Capita. <br /> Committee. Mr. Goggin felt that the article w uld have been better <br /> placed on the October warrant, <br /> The meeting adjourned at * o M.
