There is a net addition of$10,606.17 to the project cost. The change order includes: PR008/PC08 The original scope included abatement and removal of VCT flooring for installation of handicap accessible lockers in compliance with ADA/AAB requirements. The scope of this proposal request/change order allowed re-use of the existing locker bases, eliminating the need for abatement and removal of the flooring. PR012/PCO12 The original scope included glazing of the glass in the cafeteria door. The scope of this proposal request/change order replaces the glazing with a room darkening tint. PR014/PCO14 Change Order No. 2 previously approved by the Board of Selectmen on May 21, 2018 authorized the replacement of all countertops in the student bathrooms. One bathroom was missed in this approval. PR015/PCO15 The original scope for the project included standard closers for the exterior doors. The scope of this proposal request/change order includes at the request for School Administration the installation of"hold open" closers on 8 doors. This will allow staff to manually override the locking mechanism on certain doors and avoid doors being propped open by other means. Doors include main doors, cafeteria door, loading dock door, and similar where certain circumstances may warrant doors being open for a limited time period. PR016/PCO16 The original scope left off replacement of the exterior louvre cover for one Univent. The scope of this proposal request/change order provides the cover. Unforeseen Conditions/PCO17 The scope of this change order is for additional plumbing work required for unforeseen conditions; the work included time/material based on location of existing waste lines in plumbing chases in 5 bathrooms and time/material for connecting acid waste line in art room.
