15 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 27, 2018 <br /> Review of Drat October 15 2018 Annual Town Meeting Warrant: (continued) <br /> Article 414: To acquire by gift, purchase or eminent domain, a portion of a certain parcel of land identified <br /> on Mashpee Assessor's Map 37 as Parcel 28 located at 226 Cotuit Road consisting of 1,194 square feet or less <br /> in the interest of the Town. This property at the intersection of Route 130 and Cotuit Road is necessary for the <br /> re-alignment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve and recommend Article#14 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Opposed, none <br /> Article #15: Light Industrial Overlay District—HELD for further review. <br /> The article would provide flexibility for a range of industrial uses to be permitted while enhancing the <br /> architectural integrity of the Route 130 area providing new opportunities for the small business owner. A map <br /> would be provided. The article was HELD for additional review. <br /> Article#16: Raze and Replace—To clarify under the Bylaw, the ability of the ZBA to review and to evaluate <br /> existing homes to be torn down and rebuilt which may or may or may not meet the requirements under existing <br /> Zoning Bylaws. Zoning Board of Appeals member Jonathan Furbush was in attendance as was Michael <br /> Mendoza the Building Commissioner to review this article. It was agreed the Board would hold this article for <br /> a recommendation from the Planning Board. The next Planning Board meeting is September 5, 2018. The <br /> article was therefore HELD for additional review. <br /> Article #17: The article will clarify in the Bylaw where mobile food vehicles can be permitted under the <br /> Table of Use Regulations. The article was HELD for additional review. <br /> Article#18: Continuance; Extensions; Alterations: With regards to zoning setback requirements, this <br /> amended Bylaw would give the Building Inspector the ability to review and evaluate the need to go before the <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals. The article was HELD for additional review. <br /> Article#19: Setbacks from Water and Wetlands: The Bylaw is being addressed with a review by the <br /> Conservation Commission. Applying to the ZBA for relief, which has been granted by the Conservation <br /> Commission, is a duplication of the approval process. The article was HELD for additional review. <br /> Article #20: To amend the Zoning Bylaws in the I-1 Zoning District,parking facilities shall be located on <br /> any side of the building. The article was HELD for additional review. <br />
