6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 21, 2017 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Application for one day liquor license, Mashpee Kiwanis: <br /> Tamara Gray, President of the Mashpee Kiwanis Club was before the Board to request a One Day <br /> License to sell beer and wine at the annual Oktoberfest to be held on the Village Green at the corner of <br /> Steeple Street and Job's Fishing Road in Mashpee Commons on Saturday, September 30, 2017 with a <br /> rain date of Sunday, October 1, 2017. <br /> Attached with the application was a certificate of insurance including liquor liability listing the Town of <br /> Mashpee as the certificate holder. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the application of the Mashpee Kiwanis Club for <br /> a One Day Liquor License, beer and wine only at the annual Oktoberfest on September 30, 2017 <br /> with a rain date of October 1, 2017. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Opposed, none <br /> Application for temporary sign permit,Mashpee Community Blood Drive, Cape Cod Healthcare: <br /> A Temporary Sign Permit Application was presented to the Selectmen from the Cape Cod Healthcare to <br /> announce the Mashpee Community Blood Drive scheduled to be held during the Seaside LeMans on <br /> September 9, 2017.
