John Miller offered to handle Mashpee Cultural Council publicity and will work on rack cards to he handed out to interested individuals. The Town websiteould be agood venue to post a survey about Mashpee cultural Council. Dawn Thayer will check with the IT Department. The Mashpee Enterprise is another good venue for getting information out about Mashpee Cultural Council. Suggestions on getting individuals/groups interested in applying for Mashpee Cultural Council funding requests such as Cotult Center for Arts performers, Harwich theater perfrormers, etc. John Miller offered to begin investigating options. Sarah Daley's terra is up on February 2, 2017. She is willing to assist Mashpee Cultural Council, possibly along with Barbara Cotton. Bruce Taggart's term is up in September 2017. Brief discussion of a neer chair and duties of the position. Letters of interest to serve on the Mashpee Cultural Council may be sent to Lynne Waterman, Secretary. John Miller nominated Darn Thayer as Chair, and Marylate O'Brien as vice Chair, Mashpee Cultural Council, upon Sarah Daley's departure effective February 6, 2017. Robert Mendes seconded the motion. All in favor. Lynne Waterman nominated Nina Cocornazzi as Treasurer, effective upon Bruce Taggart's departure in September 2017. Jahn Miller seconded the motion. All in favor. Don Orkin l William Nay, and Mary Alice stahlec er sent in letters of interest to serve on Mashpee cultural Council. Robert Mendes motioned to recommend approval of all 3 applicants as members of Mashpee Cultural council. Dina Cocornazzi seconded the motion;. All in favor. Sarah Daley will forward their names to the selectmen for approval. There being no further business, Robert Mendes motioned to adjourn. Lynne Waterman seconded the motion. All in favor.
