Nichols <br /> Attendees: Members: Brian Mauro, Barbara Nichols, Michael Rapacz <br /> Guests: Al Turner Harbormaster, Rodney Collins Town Manager, Andrew <br /> Gottlieb Selectman Liaison, Dave Sampson Sandwich Selectman, Brent <br /> Morris, Tom Hurley, Paul McGrath, Ted Sheehan, Tom Belekewicz <br /> The minutes of the August 28, 2018 meeting were accepted as written with one correction after a motion <br /> by Brian Mauro and second by Mike Rapacz. <br /> Agenda opts <br /> [Agenda tonic 11 Lake Ievell River outflow <br /> Discussion: Barbara got the lake measurements on September 5th and 15th, and both times the level was <br /> 55.3 feet above sea level with 11.5 inches of water flowing over the board closest to the lake. There <br /> were 12 and 9 inches of water in the stream by the stairs. There were 2 inches of rain in Barbara's rain <br /> gauge during the past month. The levels were reported to Drew McManus in Conservation. <br /> The path to the cage is still grown in with poison ivy and invasive weeds. <br /> Conclusions: Higher precipitation has the lake higher than usual. <br /> [Agenda topic 21 Fall Newsletter <br /> Discussion: Mike plans to summarize some of the Harbormaster discussion during tonight's meeting into <br /> an article for the newsletter. Barbara will do an article on the beach sampling and Lowell Holly news. It <br /> is hoped to get the newsletter out by the end of October. <br /> Conclusions: The newsletter should be finished by next month. <br />
