Taylor <br /> Absent: Sylvester Ryan, Phil McCahill <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Richardson at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Continued Review of Drat October 15 2018 Annual Town Meeting Warrant <br /> in preparation for Annual Finance Committee Report: <br /> Members of the Finance Committee continued their review of Draft#2 and #3 of the October <br /> Annual Town Meeting warrant in preparation for the Finance Committee Report. Articles <br /> previously placed on hold were considered. <br /> Article#1: To transfer the sum of$272,919.06 from the Street Betterment Reserved Receipts <br /> Account to the Principal Inside 2 % Account. <br /> Craig Mayen, the Treasurer/Tax Collector was in attendance to further clarify the intent of the <br /> article with the Finance Committee. As noted, this article would pay down the principal from the <br /> amount the Town is borrowing to reduce interest payments. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Avis to approve and recommend Article#1 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Furbush. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Richardson,yes Mr. Pettengill, yes Mr. Avis,yes <br /> Mr. McKelvey,yes Mrs. Furbush,yes Opposed, none <br />
