Roll Call Vote: Mr. Richardson,yes Mr. Pettengill,yes Mr. Avis,yes Mr. McKelvey,yes Mrs. Furbush,yes Opposed, none NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING Thursday, September 6, 2018 --5:30 p.m. Mashpee Town Hall, Ockway Meeting Room Agenda Topics: Clarification regarding Article#9 Review of Explanations/Chairman's Letter COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE School Committee member George Schmidt expressed appreciation to the Finance Committee for their favorable vote to recommend At 46 proposed to amend the membership of the Capital Improvement Program (CIF) Committee to include a member or designee of the School Committee. The School Committee is currently reviewing the capital budget. A finance working group is meeting with the School Superintendent and School Business Manager to prepare the School capital budget submission to the CIP. In addition, the budget will detail an executive summary consisting of a five-year plan. The Quashnet School Building project is ahead of schedule and it is anticipated the school will be ready for opening day on September 4, 2018. A dedication ceremony is forth coming.
