Mr. lsbitz suggested that it was premature to suggest that <br /> developers would not be interested in a project of 20-25 units. Selectman Richardson responded <br /> that they felt that it would be more viable to offer the two saes. Mr. Johnson suggested that a <br /> builder would likely prefer one location.,which would be more cost effective. Mr. Isbitz noted <br /> that there could be a developer seeking a smaller site so flexibility would be recommended. IVIS. <br /> Egloff inquired whether the S' Housing Group would be meeting'again and if the Chair could <br /> join therm. Mr. Isbitz recommended working in sync with the involved groups as there would be <br /> no bereft to competing. Ms. Egloff was delighted to have 950 Falmouth Road again available <br /> and recommended an open and transparent process. The Chair reported that Quashnet valley <br /> FIs wished to stay informed, and were not upset. Quashnet valley Condominiums were <br /> unhappy with the proposal,but did not attend the meeting to which they were invited to attend. <br /> Ms. Egloff referenced the video shown about Cottage Housing at the workshop and <br /> recommended viewing of the video to gain a better understanding about higher density housing <br /> and inquired about the possibility o releasing ars RFP to gauge interest for a smaller project. <br /> There was discussion regarding the character of the housing and how well it would fit in to <br /> Mashpee's community. There was also discussion about reaching out again to the Cape Cod <br /> Young professionals. The video may be viewed as a link on the Affordable Dousing page of the <br /> Town's website. Ms. Egloff will contact the group to attend the October meeting, <br /> APPROVAL of MINUTES-April 1,2014& May 6,2014 <br /> MOTION: Mr.Isbitz made a motion approve the minutes f April 1". Mr.Johnson <br /> P <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> MOTION; Ms.Egloff made a motion to approve the minutes of May 6,2014, as presented. <br /> Mr. Isbitz seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Action Items in MA PP <br /> The Chair referenced the Housing production plan and recommended review of the document. <br /> An update would be needed in 2017. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS NOT ANTICIPATEI <br /> The Chair noted that Mashpee Commons, by way of the Town.,had been awarded State funds to <br /> extend the road to complete Market Street to Jobs Fishing Road. Mashpee Commons was <br /> awaiting word frorn the MassHousing before finalising with the bank. John Connell expressed <br /> interest in returning to the Committee and members recommended the September meeting. <br /> MEETING G A o NT <br /> There was consensus to defer the August meeting. <br />
