r <br /> towners, and the suggested valuations will be published to allow a public comment period at least <br /> week before the Assessing Office works on getting our recap approved for growth. <br /> • Review of Draft RFP for Valuation Consultant Services <br /> Paul Andrews asked the Board members for any comments they might have regarding the RFP for the <br /> consultant services. Jason Streebel commented that our fast contract ended with the successful <br /> completion of fiscal year 2014 valuations and approval of the tax rate, our RFP for valuation consultant <br /> services for the next 3 gears stipulates use of the PK software system. Jason Streebel started that he <br /> is hoping to begin work with a consultant on the revaluation process as soon as possible. Mr. Streebel <br /> stated that the actual approval process for the consultant takes approximately 2 months, and should <br /> be completed by the end of March, or early April. <br /> NEXT MEETING <br /> The next Board of Assessors meeting was scheduled for Wednesday,, February 26, 2014, at 6:00 PM. <br /> Jason Streebel stated that 18 abatement applications have already been received. Mr. Streebel <br /> commented that Chatham's tax rate is among the lowest on the Cape and Sandwich is among the <br /> highest. The Mashpee tax rate is somewhere in between these two gins. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> NMENT <br /> As there was no further business, Sheldon Holzer made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. <br /> Gregg Fraser seconded the motion.
