The follo�ng departments were <br /> interviewed; <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT: <br /> George Baker,Fire Chief was in attendance to discuss cstimated disbursements <br /> proposed for the Fire Department's capital budget for fiscal year 2014. <br /> Replace �ulans 1528.,,000. <br /> Chief Baker recommended the CIP consider the replacement of 3 Advanced <br /> Life Support Ambulances at a cost of$176,000 each or$528,000 to be funded <br /> from the Ambulance Receipts Account. it is the current Mate contract price for <br /> purchase this calendar year. It was noted the project was deferred from the C ' � <br /> p <br /> budget last year. <br /> The ambulance vehicles proposed for replacement will be five years old at the <br /> time of delivery as there is a 6-9 month delay in ordering. The purchase will <br /> allow the continuation of the'Town's commitment of'providing state of the art <br /> rescue and response for the Mashpee community. At the time of renewal, it is <br /> estimated the vehicles will each have approximately 100,000 miles. <br />
