Itis the intention of the <br /> Fire Department to use existing apparatus. All other equipment need.s would be <br /> inclusive in'the purchase pace. <br /> i <br /> I <br /> It was agreed the Ton Accountant woudd-review the debt and avaiiabie funding <br /> M the Fire Department's Ambulance Receipts Account. <br /> Lew Utilitv vehicles-U9,0W Year 1: <br /> It is estimated that two utility vehicles proposed for the Fire Department to <br /> replace the Deputy Fire Chief s 2002 Chevy Tahoe and Duty Supervisor's 204 <br /> Chevy Tahoe is$39,000 in Year I and$39,000 respectively'in Year 2. The total <br /> cost is$78,000 for a tiro-year municipal lease. <br /> Currently,the 2002 Chevy Tahoe has 97,270 miles,and the 2004, 102,361 miles. <br /> The 2004 rRecei ed a transmission replacement and the 2002 was repaired three <br /> Mmes within the last two months for electrical issues and recently had the <br /> alternator replaced. <br /> A lease-purchase program is recommended to begin a vehicle replacement <br /> programsimilar to the Police Department. The Fire Department currently has six <br /> utility vehicles.
