Lew Utilitv vehicles-U9,0W Year 1: It is estimated that two utility vehicles proposed for the Fire Department to replace the Deputy Fire Chief s 2002 Chevy Tahoe and Duty Supervisor's 204 Chevy Tahoe is$39,000 in Year I and$39,000 respectively'in Year 2. The total cost is$78,000 for a tiro-year municipal lease. Currently,the 2002 Chevy Tahoe has 97,270 miles,and the 2004, 102,361 miles. The 2004 rRecei ed a transmission replacement and the 2002 was repaired three Mmes within the last two months for electrical issues and recently had the alternator replaced. A lease-purchase program is recommended to begin a vehicle replacement programsimilar to the Police Department. The Fire Department currently has six utility vehicles.
