MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING MINUTES OCTOBER 24,2018 The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Popponesset Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North. Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Member Scott Goldstein, and Associate Members, Brad Pittsley and Sharon Sangeleer were present. Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza was also present. Board Members, Ron Bonvie and Norman J. Gould were absent. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that there were only four Board Members present. Any applicant has a right to continue their petition based on the fact there were only four members present. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no comments from the attendees or the Board. CONTINUED HEARINGS 419 Monomoscoy Road: Owner, Walter S.M. Wightman, Trustee of the Walter S.M. Wightman Trust requests a Written Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaw to raze and replace a single-family residence on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 124 Parcel 58, Mashpee, MA. 419 MonomoscoyRoad: Owner, Walter S.M. Wightman, Trustee of the Walter S.M. Wightman Trust requests a Variance under §174-31 for relief from the right and left side yard setbacks to allow for the raze and replace of a single-family residence on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 124 Parcel 58,Mashpee, MA. Attorney Geoff Nickerson was present and he had emailed a formal letter for his client to withdraw the applications. There were abutters present for this hearing but they had no comments. Ms. Sangeleer read the letter of withdrawal into the record. Scott made a motion to allow the Board to withdraw the applications for 41.9 Monomoscoy Road. Brad seconded. All were in favor to allow the applicant to withdraw the applications at 419 Monomoscoy Road. 1
