i <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> September 6, 2018 <br /> Present: Andrew Gottlieb, Dawn Thayer, Brian Hyde, Richard Halpern, <br /> Mary Ann Waygan, Tony Pizzo, Chad Smith <br /> Absent: Ed Larkin, David Harsch <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> MINUTES <br /> Thursday, August 16, 2018 Regular Session: <br /> The minutes were amended as follows; it was noted Catherine Laurent has not been apprised... <br /> To read: was not involved in the second application of the Mashpee Greenway Pathway & <br /> Footbridge project after the second application for additional funding was not approved by the <br /> Community Preservation Committee. <br /> For clarification: <br /> Application#1: $84,800 Applicant: Conservation Commission, Co-applicant Planning Board <br /> Application #2: $110.000 Applicant: Conservation Commission/Mashpee DPW <br /> The minutes were HELD for additional review. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> Public Hearin —Informational Meeting regarding;the funding of projects from the <br /> Community Preservation Fund for the May.2019 Annual Town Meetin : <br /> The Community Preservation Committee opened the Public Hearing as directed by the <br /> Community Preservation bylaw on the needs, possibilities and resources of the Town of <br /> Mashpee as they relate to historic preservation, recreation, affordable housing and open space. <br /> The Hearing notice as published was read aloud into the record by Brian Hyde, Clerk of the <br /> Community Preservation Committee. <br /> The project balances were identified by the Vice-Chairman Dawn Thayer. The following <br /> balances were reported with rounded figures; <br /> 10% Open Space/Recreation Reserve $248,000 <br /> 10%Affordable Housing Reserve $455,000 <br /> 10%Historic Preservation Reserve $821,000 <br />
