In this project, signage depicting historically significant locations would be placed at <br /> 60 buildings and locations. The historic markers would include a photo or a sketch with text and <br /> quotations regarding the site. The project includes a Mashpee Historic Walking Tour pamphlet, <br /> and a kiosk with a map and descriptions. <br /> It was noted that discussions are ongoing with Catherine Laurent, the Director of Public Works <br /> regarding sign production and design as well as sign placement. With the permission of the <br /> Board of Selectmen for location, signage is intended to be placed on Town property. The <br /> signage is not intended to impact private property or Tribal lands. <br />
