It was <br /> suggested the Committee explore the option for affordable housing with Habitat <br /> for Humanity on this property and not rush into the purchase of the land for open <br /> space purposes. <br /> 1.n response,it was stated this is not the task of the Community Preservation <br /> Cottee, and the application before the-CSC is for the purchase of open space. <br /> ph llis Littleford— 104 William Mingo/60 5addleback load 23.6 Acres for Open <br /> S agg .ecreationU toric Preservation and water Protection -$600,900: <br /> brief discussion followed with respect to the Littleford parcel. There was no <br /> representative in attendance to review this matter. 1t was agreed the two parcels <br /> of land under consideration would be acted upon in the same manner. <br /> If the Town were to consider the process of acquiring the land,the Town Manager <br /> recommended the Co-rnunity Preservation Conunittee enter into negotiations. <br /> It was agreed the CPC would meet on February 13, 2014 to review the <br /> appraisals) in detail with a full voting quorum, and the CPC would deliberate on <br /> matters relative to the value and purchase of real property in Executive Session. <br /> Motion made by Mr.O'Hara to schedule a CPC Meeting on Thursday, <br /> February 13,2014 at : o p.m. for the purpose of reviewing the apprat'sals <br /> and negotiation. _ <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Kaplan. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 9-0. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Mr.Halpern,yes lir. o"Nara,yes <br /> Ms. Ronnmeltney r,yes Mr. Lar n,yes <br /> Mr. Shaw,yes Ms. wayan,yes <br /> Mr. Lord,yes Mrs. Buschenfeldt,yes <br /> Mr.Kaplan,yes opposed,none <br /> End of Remote Conversation—Quorum is now ' . <br />
