It was suggested the Committee explore the option for affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity on this property and not rush into the purchase of the land for open space purposes. 1.n response,it was stated this is not the task of the Community Preservation Cottee, and the application before the-CSC is for the purchase of open space. ph llis Littleford— 104 William Mingo/60 5addleback load 23.6 Acres for Open S agg .ecreationU toric Preservation and water Protection -$600,900: brief discussion followed with respect to the Littleford parcel. There was no representative in attendance to review this matter. 1t was agreed the two parcels of land under consideration would be acted upon in the same manner. If the Town were to consider the process of acquiring the land,the Town Manager recommended the Co-rnunity Preservation Conunittee enter into negotiations. It was agreed the CPC would meet on February 13, 2014 to review the appraisals) in detail with a full voting quorum, and the CPC would deliberate on matters relative to the value and purchase of real property in Executive Session. Motion made by Mr.O'Hara to schedule a CPC Meeting on Thursday, February 13,2014 at : o p.m. for the purpose of reviewing the apprat'sals and negotiation. _ Motion seconded by Mr. Kaplan.
