Improvement of these <br /> facilities will enhance the usage for the Town recreational program and its <br /> visitors. <br /> The DPW has been removing the existing play structures, equipment that has <br /> fallen into disrepair over the years for safety reasons. The site has several picnic <br /> tables that the DPW has previously purchased. <br /> If CPA funding is received,the goal is to have the playground available for use by <br /> mid-summer 2015. If the project is successful,the Town would request additional <br /> fimding in future years to complete the project. The DPW.will continue to <br /> maintain the property through its annual Building and Grounds expense budget. <br /> Transfer of Bathhouse/Picnic Pavilion from John's Pond Beach to I3 rimPark: <br /> In October of 2013 CPA funding was approved to improve the recreational <br /> facilities at John's Pond Beach.`The 1.,,000 project included the funding for a <br /> bathhouse/picnic Pavilion.
