t <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of May 30, 2013 <br /> Public Hearings <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Waquoit Conference morn I <br /> Commissioners: Chairman John Fitzsimmons, vice Chairman Ralph Shag, Mark Gurnee, Robert Anderson <br /> and John Rogers <br /> Staff Present: brew McManus (Conservation Agent) and Judy Daigneault (recording Secretary) <br /> Call Meeting to order: 5:55 <br /> The meeting was called to order with a quorum by Chairman Fitzsimmons at 5:55 p.m. <br /> There was no public comment <br /> Pre/Post HearinAgenda: } <br /> Minutes: Approval of the following minutes-. April 25, 2013 <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the minutes of April 25, 2013, <br /> Administrative review: SE 043-2701 Peter and Linda Connly 172 Waterway—tend previously <br /> approved retaining wall by 40 linear feet. <br /> Jack Vaccaro represented Peter and Linda Connly. He explained this project is under construction and was <br /> approved by the Conservation Commission last year. There is a need to extend a retaining gall at the back of <br /> the property that the builder wants to stabilize an area of the slope. Where would be a site increase of <br /> imperious surface and the area amounts to approximately 180 square feet of additional mitigation requirement. <br /> He was asking the Commission to put in this additional scall without any further increase in mitig4tion area. <br /> .Agent McManus noted her et with Robert Fox, Jr. who asked if it was possible to extend the retaining wall. <br /> There is no native vegetation on this lot. Mitigation was provided for because of the increase in encroachment <br /> towards the resource area. This is a small amount of hardscaping and won't affect mitigation one way or the <br /> other.
