Agent discovered wetlands violation. <br /> FDA <br /> Resource Area: Mand Under Ocean, LSCSF, Coastal Bank to salt Marsh <br /> The Agent explained when he went out to do the inspection, he noticed there was <br /> violation that had taken plane with the clearing of vegetation right along the stretch of the <br /> coastal bank. He followed up with IIIb. Nard ne to let him know and sent out a notice of <br /> violation and Mr. Nard ne did respond. Mr. I and ne hired Hoxie Landscaping to conduct <br /> mitigation in accordance with our mitigation regulations and submitted a plan along with <br /> an associated narrative with a 3 year maintenance a plarn to make sure the mitigation takes <br /> hold and is successful. The Agent said he didn't want the hearing to rove forward until <br /> he received the narrative and the plan. He found the plea to be acceptable which will be <br /> implemented in the spring. The Agent said he withheld them roving forward with this <br /> dock application because of the existing unresolved violation issue. It has been resolved <br /> and now that we have received the information he recommended we go forward with the <br /> application. <br /> Matt Costar Cape and Islands Engineering, was representing the applicant. He explained f <br /> Mrs. Petersen was the previous property owner and sold to Mr. Nard ne and ars part of <br /> the purchase and sales agreement she was to complete a Chapter 91 licensing process <br /> for the existing pier.
