Lynne also.worked on updating the training of COA staff in CPR She noted that all <br /> COA staff has completed the required online conflict of interest training. <br /> She updated the CORI information on all volunteers and the civil defense list to include <br /> all seniors over the age of 90. Lynne met with two local hospice agencies to plan two <br /> new programs and met with the Mashpee Library Director to review the room scheduling <br /> process. <br /> Lynne read a letter of resignation dated April 1 from Arthur Eisenberg resigning from the <br /> Council on Aging Board. Irving Goldberg will prepare a notice for the newsletter <br /> regarding the vacancy. Jack Jordan suggested sending a letter of appreciation to Arthur <br /> Eisenberg. All members agreed. <br /> Motion: Jack Jordan moved to accept the Director's Report, seconded by Jeanne <br /> Noussee. Vote was unanimous. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT <br /> Lynne distributed the budget report. She reviewed the operating budget. <br /> Motion: Jack Jordan moved accept the Treasurer's Report, seconded by Jeanne <br /> Noussee. Vote unanimous. <br /> OUTREACH COORDINATOR'S REPORT <br /> Director Lynne Waterman introduced the new Outreach Coordinator Darlene Perkins. <br /> Darlene reviewed her background and experiences with the members. <br /> Motion: Jack Jordan moved to accept the Outreach Coordinator Report, seconded <br /> by Jeanne Noussee. Vote unanimous <br /> VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR REPORT <br /> Lynne distributed the Volunteer Coordinator's Report highlighting Judy Genge trained 3 <br /> volunteers. Judy has also been working on National Volunteer week arranging for a <br /> piano concert for Monday April 22, 2013 for our volunteers She will have a poster <br /> listing all volunteers and thanking them for the"the gift of time". Judy has also been <br /> working on updating our list of volunteers to be invited to the recognition luncheon. The <br /> estimate at this time is 190 volunteers. The luncheon is planned for 12 noon on May 16. <br /> Lynne also noted in the report "Live Well Mashpee" by the school system. We have <br /> been invited to participate and we will have a table there with information about the <br /> senior center. <br /> Motion: Marijo Gorney moved to accept the Volunteer Coordinator Report, <br /> seconded by Jack Dorsey. Vote Unanimous. <br />
