Minutes of Combined Meeting of Mash Review Design Committee and Ma hp a.pian Review committee Held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 ashpee Town Hall Waquoit fleeting Room Design Review Members Present: Jonathan Furbush, Mary LeBlanc, and Joseph Cummings Plan Review Members Present., Charlie Maintani , Local Inspector Torn Fudala, Torn-Planner Glen Harrington, Health Agent Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector Scott Carline, Police'Department Charlie Maintanis called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. 735 Falmouth Board Mark & Sarah Lee, CrossFit Cape cod Informal discussion Propose— 11 1000 square foot build' for for a fitness.,,training studio Mark Lee and Livia ILII onteforte realt r appeared, Realtor Livia M nteforte said this is an informal discussion. Cross'Fit is interested in purchasing the property. Currently at 11 a hpee.Comm ns but lookingto et into more permanent space. Want to determine if that would be possible at this site before moving forward with formal offer. According to Livia Monteforte# they would be following what had been proposed for the property sometime in the 's or early 90's. Lot is currently on the market; has been on and oft the market for some time. There is a small area the current owners cleared. CrossFlt classes are pre-s heduled...people dont just corne and go. Classes start at 6 a.m. Only 1 class on Sunday. Busiest day there would be 7 classes. No' plans to do 2 -hour operation. -20 individuals per class. Sho wedrc osed elevation of 2003 Plan vs. proposed elevation they are proposing. p p Showed brochure from design company being considered. • Tom Fudala said parking requirement is 42 spaces and the newer plan shows 42 spaces. However, Torn pointed out that the size doesn't look adequate on the earlier plan. Also, at rear parking area 10 foot buffer needed. Torn said there is going to be a steep gall at the back. • Would have to meet Fire Department access requirements; also; there are rear,-side, and front buffer requirements. • State Highway Department would give curb cut.
