They <br /> are using r. Day to do the <br /> i n; the specs ►ill be the same as children's Museum sign. Mr. Abbot <br /> g <br /> said John Benz, Mashpee Commons okay with doing this, and Mr. I n signed the application; <br /> Smitty's a lessee) said It is okay; and Catherine Laurent, DPW, said it would be no problem. <br /> Torn F data asked if they are sure of property o i►nership.- Bud Abbot responded "fires"--confirmed by <br /> Town Hall. <br /> Bud Abbot explained it would be a directional sign and would inform people there is a church at <br /> Popponesset Marketplace. <br /> Tom Fudala advised that under the signage by-law this sign would be prohibited because it is not <br /> advertising the product or service sold by the owner of the property. Torn said the simplest approach <br /> would be to try to get sign placed on road layout. William Blaisdell said sign would be advertising a <br /> building, not a service, so it would be considered a directional sign; however if considered advertising <br /> then would be prohibited under signage by-law since not owner of the property. <br />
