Minutes of Combined Meeting l lashpee Design Review Committee and -I lash ee Plan Review Commitee Held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 Mashpee Town Mall Waquoit Meeting Room Design Review Members Present: ,Joseph Cummings and .Jonathan Furbush Pian Review Members Present: Tom Fudala, Torn Planner ; Catherine Laurent, 1PIr Director Veronica harden-, Assistant Health Agent Michael Mendoza, Building Commissioner Torn Mayo, Assistant Tern imager Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector Audience: Carol;Sherman — Board of selectmen Geoff Spillane — I lash.pee,Enterprise Michael,Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:09 a.m. 130 Pond circle Stephen & Deirdre Greelish Request for accessory apartment Board of Appeals scheduled - October 22nd Stephen, Deirdre, and Phyllis Greelish appeared. Phyllis Greelish said her parents moved to the Cape in 1972 and have owned this. house sire 1986 in John Pond Estates. She said her parents are retiring and she would like to buy the house.if they can put 'in an accessory a partment.for her parents. Proposing to renovate garage into.accessory apartment. Board of Health approved Plans at meeting fast week. 0 Driveway holds 4 cars; they only have 3 cars. No turn-around area. They've been using parking this way for 3 years wfth-no problems, Toni Fudala said they-need 4 paring spaces, which they.have. Torn Fudala mentioned the deck at the end of the house. He said the Site Plan doesn't show the proposed deck and that has to be shown on Site Flan. Joel Clifford stated there are no life-saving devices shogun on existing or proposed Plans. Phyllis Greelish responded that right now all are battery-operated but the electrician will be wiring the whole house for detectors and said it will not be a problem to do that. Jonathan Furbush read the specific regulations for accessory apartment to be sure all items were addressed by applicant. Torn Fudala commented that when ZETA is looking at setbacks he is sure this is a grandfathered property.
