1 <br /> Mr_ Talbot indicated that there had been talk regarding issues,at John"s Pond beach and a desire <br /> to initiate ars association. <br /> Nutrient Management& Fertilizer Regulations for Fresh water Ponds & Estuaries <br /> Mr. Talbot reported that he had made adjustments to the bylaw, still based on Falmouth's bylaw, <br /> while incorporating language from the Cape Cod Commission and comments shared by Jonathan <br /> Idman. Mr. Idrnan had indicated to Mr. Tarot that other Cape towns were also putting together <br /> bylaws. Mr. Talbot indicated that the Cape Cod Commission should be fine with the draft. W. <br /> Talbot emphasized that the four performance standards rmaine . Mr. Talbot highlighted the <br /> potential savings o 40 million from wastewater costs to taxpayers. Ir. York inquired about <br /> golf courses with liners, which Mr. Talbot responded was listed among the exemptions. <br /> Selectman Cahalane mach a motion to accept the final draft of the Nitrogen Control Bylaw. <br /> Mr. York seconded the motion. All voted unanhnously. <br /> Chairman Petersen will contact the BOS office to be placed on the agenda for a future BOS <br /> meeting and he and Mr. Talbot will attend to present the final draft. A general presentation was <br /> recommended to provide a summary and highlight the savings, noting that it was based on <br /> Falmouth's bylaw. Mr. Talbot recommended reaching out to golf course superintendents for <br /> their support and knowledge of best practices. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Combine Water-Sewer <br /> Selectman Chalane reported that when the Water District votes for the Annual Town Meeting, <br /> the Sewer Commission will cease to exist. <br /> Town-Fide Stormwater Management Plan <br /> No update <br /> Land Steward Program <br /> No update <br /> Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant <br /> 10 update <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Change of Meeting Day <br /> Where was discussion regarding changing the meeting date in order to accommodate possible <br /> new member and now Mashpee resident., Drew McManus, There-was consensus to change the <br /> meeting date and time to the third Tuesday at :30 p.m, Mr. Talbot will recommend that Mr. <br /> McManus submit a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Selectman Cahalane made a motion to change the date of the meeting.
