OPENING STATEMENT FROM THE CHAIRMAN Mark Davrnr expressed his appreciation to George Schmidt for his exemplary service as Finance Committee Chairman during the past year. Mark Davini stated that over the coming year, he would lila to provide as much scrutiny as possible, through the committee liaison representatives, to each line item on all departmental budgets. PUBLIC COMMENTS— None. REVIEW F MINUTES--6/13/2013 Oskar Diener# made a motion that the minutes from the 6/13/2013 Finance Colmmi tee (meeting be approved as presented. Charles Gasior seconded the motion. The motion was approved 6-0 with one committee member absent. NEIN BUSINESS A. Comments from Bos Liaison - IIIb. Richardson absent. B. Transfer Requests —Jo a Mason (1) Joyce Mason requested approval of the transfer of$11,000 from the Police Patrolmen's Salary Account to the Dispatch salary account. Ms. Mason explained that one Dispatcher position has been funded for a couple of years, resulting in overtire to fill the required number of two Dispatchers on duty during evening hours. Theresa Cook made a motion that the Committee approve the requested transfer of$11,000 from the Patrolmen's Salary Account to the Dispatcher's Salary Account. Christopher Avis seconded the motion. The motion was approved - (one member absent).
