Town !Manager <br /> Theresa Cook, Vice Chairman Oskar Klen rt Mike Richardson, B S Liaison <br /> Charles Gasior, Clerk <br /> Sal DiBuono <br /> Christopher Avis <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> Chairman Mark Da ini called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. <br /> PLEDGE of ALLEGIANCE— Recited. <br /> ACKNOWLEDGEMENT i GEMENT of TOWN MANAGER JOYCE MASON'S 30 YEARS of SERVICE <br /> As Finance Committee Chairman, Mark # avini paid tribute to Joyce Mason for her 30 years of <br /> service to the Town of 11 ashpee. <br /> PUBLIC CO ENT— None. <br /> REVIEW of MINUTES — 8108/201 <br /> Christopher Avis made a motion that the minutes from the meeting of 8/08/2013 be approved as <br /> presented. Theresa Cook seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> NEIN BUSINESS <br /> A. Board of selectmen's Liaison Report- Mike Richardson <br /> School Committee: Brian Hyde is working within the MOU agreement as to hover the DPW can gain <br /> access to the schools to do maintenance. Mr. Hyde will meet with Joyce Mason on 9/05113 at <br /> Town Hall to establish a standard policy to corner all building maintenance work. <br /> CPA Warrant Article : the B S voted to remove ars article from the October Town meeting warrant <br /> calling for approval of an additional $200,000 to the program for CPA funds. It was learned that <br /> the MHA has been using the funds to provide monthly rent payments to some residents for some <br /> periods of 6 to 24 months, a time period the I HA considers "short-tern assistance'r. <br /> fl ash ee Cares. Mr. Richardson stated that there is still interest in continuing the initiative even <br /> though the project is roiling along very slowly. The involved group is trying to find a new focus and <br /> a specific goal, with guru control and drug abuse as a key issue. <br /> Dru-q Return Problem. Mr. Richardson reported that returned drugs cannot he incinerated because <br /> of DEP regulations regarding pollution. <br /> t <br />
