Theresa Cook- <br /> made a motion that the Finance Committee mittee re rmmend approval of the Town Manager's <br /> $'1,468}191 recommended budget. Oskar Klenert seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> approved by a vote of 7-0. <br /> F. Other Departmental entad Appropriations: Town Manager's recommended total budget: <br /> $20,901 028. Theresa Cook made a motion that the Finance Committee re rxmend approval of <br /> the Town Manager's $20,901,028 recommended budget. Oskar Klenert seconded the emotion. <br /> The motion was approved by a vote of 7-0. <br /> G. General Expenses: Town Manager's recommended total budget: $14,671:006. Theresa <br /> Cook made a motion that the Finance Committee recommend approval of the Town Manager's <br /> $14,671,006 recommended mended budget. George Schmidt seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> approved by a vote of 7-0. <br /> Charles Gasi r stated that for the record, the Finance Committee vote for all department lines in <br /> the Town Manager's 2015 budget proposal was recommended for approval by a vote of 7-0 with <br /> the exception of Town Clerk/Elections and Street Lighting expenses which were placed on HOLD. <br /> George Schmidt made a motion that the Town Manager's budget for General Government in all <br /> categories with the exception of the Town Clerk/Elections be recommended mended for approval by the <br /> Finance Committee. Theresa Cool{ seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br /> approved. <br /> George Schmidt made a motion to plane on hold the Town Clerk/Elections item ofthe Town <br /> Manager's General Government portion of the annual budget. Theresa Cook seconded the <br /> motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> Mark Davini stated that the committee would be receiving a memo from Town Clerk Deborah Dami <br /> explaining her justification for a raise request over and above the Town Manager's recommended <br /> budget for the Town Clerk Elections lire item. <br /> George Schmidt made a motion that the Finance Committee approve the Town Clerk's submission <br /> of a memo in plane of a personal appearance, in justification of her request for a wage increase, to <br /> be discussed at the Finance Committee meeting on March 13t Theresa Cook seconded the <br /> motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> • <br /> Review of Capital Improvement Committee Report: Theresa Cook <br /> Theresa Cook reported that all departments making a capital request were represented at the last <br /> CIC meeting. Records rds are available providing information on the rationale behind all the requests. <br /> The DPW received the largest amount of$260,000 due to necessary vehicle equipment <br /> replacements. If approved, the Fire Department will replace two worn vehicles at $75,000, but is <br /> not increasing the total number of vehicles in their fleet. Total IT VM Server Munis will receive <br /> $28,000; School Dept. will receive $30,000 forWireless; and Police Dept. will receive $240,600 to <br /> cover 16 vehi le lease expenses and one boat engine. Ms. Cook stated that the CIC voted <br /> unanimously to approve the capital requests decided upon at their meeting. The vote will be <br /> approved by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> 3 <br /> L <br />
