f <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to nominate and elect Ben Gordon <br /> as Chairman for one year on the waterways Commission. <br /> Unanimous Vote. <br /> Motion was made to nominate Jim Hanks- as vice Chairperson; he <br /> declined. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to nominate Herb Silver as vice <br /> Chairperson. <br /> Unanimous Vote, <br /> Mr. Homeyer noted that a copy of the Minutes should be turned <br /> over to the Town Clerk and the Selectmen; this will be taken <br /> care of by Marg Gelsthorpe, Board Secretary, after they are <br /> formally accepted. <br /> Mr. Hanks presented a list from data base by moorings, and he <br /> is working on one by boat name to help in finding out those <br /> making big wakes) . <br /> Mr. Homeyer stated we need to get the MS numbers on the moorings <br /> and dock to increase our Harbor maintenance fund since we get <br /> half of what comes in from State Excise Tax, owners pair tax <br /> wherever they moor or store the boat during the summer season. <br /> Mr. Homeyer clarified aby-law that if a member misses three <br /> consecutive meetings (not five as previously stated) without <br /> an excuse, the majority of the Commission canpetition the <br /> Selectmen to remove that individual from the Board, the Selectmen <br /> will then hold a public hearing, and a unanimous vote would <br /> be needed to remove that person. <br /> The meeting adjourned -at ,m,, <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> all f <br /> Mar � elsthorpe <br /> Board Secretary <br />
