(Lew chwa'rt <br /> and Herb Silver were absent due to the <br /> Jewish Holiday) . <br /> Harbormaster Perry Ellis was present also. <br /> The m'eetinc was called to order at p.m. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: None. <br /> MINUTES: The August 2 , 1994 Minutes were accepted. <br /> HARBORMASTER REPORT* fir. Ellis reported there were no problems ; <br /> eight citations were issued this month. Portaotties will be <br /> lea in - the ramps so we don ' t cj-et billed. A rotor carne in and <br /> was snitched with another. Dr, Gordon stated we now have three <br /> 88 h. . motors in excellent operating condition. The power <br /> tilt was replaced which was under warranty. The new truck is <br /> here and was lettered in blue and white; the bedlifier which <br /> cost $238 has yet to be installed. The tie downs (deluxe model ) i <br /> and antennas are ready to be installed. Reflector stripes are <br /> yet to be applied. New buoys are in, and they will be installed <br /> next spring. There have been problems with the channel markers <br /> at- their pivot point, and D , Gordon tuggested putting swivel <br /> shackles on them before we make a complaint. fir. Gordon also <br /> su -ested keeling .track of these noting number, date, problem, <br /> and someone will photograph them. Nor. Homeyer asked how long <br /> the help will be working, and Mr. Ellis stated that Mark will <br /> be here until the fall and Dan offered to dive hire a hand. <br /> Mr. Ellis stated that ll winter sticks will be installed. The <br /> question came up regarding lighted buoys , and Dr. Gordon stated <br /> they are very expensive to maintain so no lights are planned. . <br /> COUNTY DREDGE STATUS <br /> Dr. Gordon stated the county dredge has not gone out to bid. <br /> The committee has been formed with one representative from each <br /> town. Dr. Gordon was appointed by the selectman to represent <br /> iashee. A letter was received requesting an update of our <br /> needs for dredging. Mr.. Hanks plans to do the work on Waquoit <br />
